Anti Aging Tips

Prevent Aging

How can we live longer?

Perhaps a better question would be: “How do we manage to grow old so fast?”

It does take some doing:

Pollution and Environmental Toxins
Poor Nutrition
Lack of Sleep

The body is a just about perfect engine, but like all engines it requires the correct fuel to perform well and last long.

The fuel, of course, comes from the things we eat and drink: Water, Carbohydrates, Proteins, and Fats are the major nutrients. Add to these the micronutrients Vitamins, Minerals, Amino Acids, Enzymes, and Antioxidants. If we deprive our bodies of any of these, it will object by not performing well, and by not lasting as long.

The point is, if we allow the body to get healthy, it will perform better and last longer. Simple, but true.

Aging can be slowed

Given the right nutrients, the body will revive, get “younger” and more energetic. And given a sensible, preferably vegetarian, diet, along with exercise and good sleep, here are some products that will slow aging by helping the body get healthier:

Coenzyme Q10

This antioxidant is structured similarly to Vitamin E and plays a crucial role in the production of cellular energy. It helps increase circulation, and also fortifies our immune system.

Bilberry Extract

This herb contains natural antioxidants that keep our capillary walls strong and flexible. Some studies indicate that the anthocyanidins contained in Bilberry can provide up to fifty times the antioxidant protection of vitamin E and ten times the protection of vitamin C.

This amino acid increases glutathione levels in the lungs, kidneys and liver and has an anti-aging effect on the body, including the reduction of age spot accumulation.

Pine Bark, Grape Seed & Green Tea Extracts

Pine Bark and Grape Seed extracts are the main sources for Oligomeric Proanthocyanidins (OPCs) which may be as much as fifty time more potent than vitamin E and twenty times more potent than vitamin C as an antioxidant. They support the immune system and slow aging.
